About us

Hey! We’re Kat & Laura…

We’re based in the UK and the USA and we came together during Covid as fellow conservationists and yoga teachers to host online yoga classes that raised over $8,000 for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya who’s wild residents were under threat due to a lack of tourism income. Things grew from here and in 2022 we took two amazing groups of wilderness loving people to one of our favourite places in Africa to practice yoga in the wild, with the wild, for the wild. Since then our retreats raised over $11,000 for the conservancy and we saw how powerful these events can be for the conservation projects we support and the people that joined us on our retreats. So we’re spreading the love further and wider, using yoga and community to help raise awareness and funds for important African conservation initiatives.

We want to share Africa’s wildest places and most important conservation initiatives with the world.

THE OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY, KENYA

Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. It has some of the highest predator densities in Kenya, and still manages a very successful livestock programme. Ol Pejeta also seeks to support the people living around its borders, to ensure wildlife conservation translates to better education, healthcare and infrastructure for the next generation of wildlife guardians.
